i think it has to do with a chemical released in your brain - something to do with the pituitary gland (the master gland).

The male gonad that is the testis secretes a hormone called androgen.
which is responsible for sexual characteristics . and it is not teenagers body to adult body it is a child to being mature that is 14-16.
