My son is a teenager and I was wondering what kind of car to get him. He likes sleek and fast cars. But I want a nice sweet ride for him but that is safe. I am not going to buy a Toyota or Honda because he hates them. What do you think?

As long as it runs he shouldn’t care. Most teens don’t get “sweet” cars as their first cars.
Well, if your trying to stick in the more affordable price range, try a suped up VW. I have seen some really nice ones.
1977-1979 f series pickups. safe well sort of, parts are cheap. can get em real cheap. i once hit a herd of deer with mine. still runs like a champ

you should get him an older car… 60’s or 70′ when they were safer than now…and he can fix it up custom! SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF!!
A car that HE works for and earns himself. If you get him a “Sweet ride” more then likely it won’t stay “Sweet” for long because he will have to show it off and crap!

An older, 4-cylinder Volvo sedan/saloon, such as the 240. They are solid, safe and so out of style they are almost fashionable again. He should buy his own insurance, not ride on yours, so his driving (tickets, etc.) will be accountable in his own pocket. No wagons, unless you can weld the back seat in the upright position!
