If you just want to stay in shape and not go crazy with exercising, 30 minutes of jogging (or whatever exercise you had in mind) 3-4 days per week would be enough.
I heard adults should exercise at least 3 times a week, for at least 15 minutes each time. Exercise junkies usually do more, but it’s not necessary unless you’re a fanatic. Although young kids usually don’t need formal exercise.
I think the best time is 45 mins each week day and 30 mins on the weekends - umm eat healthy like broccoli
