i started at 16, i worked at a law office, just running stuff to a bank and filing stuff
whenever they are mature and responsible enough to have a job.
14years old- part time and full time in summer 
I think 16 is a good age. Because you are old enough to get a ID or Drivers License and old enough to handle some responsibility’s.

I don’t think you should work as a teen if you can help it. You need to spend time studying and having fun.
If you need to work, try to find a job that will somehow relate to your future career plans.
i started at 16, fast food restaurant. if you dont like that try a small shop or talk to your school counselor. he or she should be able to help especially if you have a career in mind
16 is a good age to start working. Retail can be fun and fast food pays well. Is there something you like to do? Find a job that allows you to use your particular talents or skills.
It’s fun to earn your own money, save it and buy things you want. You can also save for College expenses.
