I am a metal head and a teenager age 16 10th grade. My peers have been pressuring me to cut my hair. I now feel that my hair is too long and I want to cut it. I dont want short hair. Something that will cover my face while headbanging. Nothing generic. Please help me. I looked at many pictures and nothing seems right.

either way dreadlocks are cool. theyre kinda low maintenance and they dont have to be too long..if they get real long they are great for head banging though

Real Metal hair looks just like what you want it to look like. Simple as that.
You should not care what other people think what so ever. Look how you want to look. If you’ve ever been to a concert you should know that.
But if you, Personaly (not influenced by others) think your hair is too long, just keep your bangs to top of your lip/bottom of your nose, and cut the back to like quarter of an inch above your shoulder, Side bangs are your own preference, i personaly have fairly long side bangs and plan on growing them longer then the back (their about even atm).
But like i said before, Metal hair is exactly how you want it to look like, nothing more.
Dude don’t listen to them thats the metalhead way is all about. man i have people telling to cut my hair and i say no. but if push came to push. just buy lots of fav bands and shit and rebal and still hangbang and shit like fomer lead singer of pantera was bald and he hangbangs like crazy

Did you try to log on to one of the websites for hair makeover? It allow you to download your picture and you can test the styles & create one to see what will look good on you.You can even print it out.
Well.. i think your hair ought to be either really long or really short…like James from METALLICA……and if you dress like him you’ll prob look good…

Try a hair cut like Bam Margera, but maybe a little longer. If you don’t want it to look so full and fluffy since you would be taking so much weight off your hair, maybe shave a little off the under side.
