Sorry mate but you are either funny or you aren’t. Nothing is less funny than someone who isn’t and is trying to be. There is nothing wrong with being ‘a bit boring’. Just be yourself. Nice guys do not finish last, it just feels that way when you are young!

Be yourself. There is nobody else on this whole planet exactly like you. If you are happy with yourself you’ll always be happy and so will other people who are around you. Don’t try change yourself and be someone your not. Look mate I’m going into highschool in 2009 too, I know how hard it is to try get other peoples approval. If you are boring so what?. Just be yourself and other people will like you whether you are funny or not.

Don’t bother trying. If you get involved with a group of quick-witted people, you quickly pick up the way to do it. Most of the time, people don’t even think before something funny comes out of their mouth. It just happens. You’ll probably find yourself in a position like that sometime through your high school years.

Walk around and whack people in their privates (preferably males, females might take it as offensive). Most guys in high school find that pretty funny. “Pantsing” someone is usually a riot as well. And let’s not forget sarcasm.
