I’m 13 years old and I’m a big fan of 50s, early 60s and 80s. Best music ever made.

poppinalex14 on 13 July, 2007 at 9:34 am #

Lmao! I do have friends, I have lots of them. It’s just I love the way the 50′s were. I rather live in the 50′s then now. Yeah, thats wat makes this kind of music so awesome, it’s based on love and compassion. =]

Mychaels on 13 July, 2007 at 3:25 pm #

You can change this. Find some friends! Make some real music. Don’t make it personel. Love is the way. You can sell love! All music from the old days is based on love! Cmon buddy we need you!

poppinalex14 on 14 July, 2007 at 8:02 am #

Yeah. I’m 13. And I think this music is Awesome! Just the rythem and the way it sounds. I wish I grew up in the 50′s , it’s better than living the shitty way we live now.

i think music has sort of lost its meaning i could go and play music like this in the street and the people who were around when it was big would congregate and discuss things it meant to them but if i did that with the modern music my frinds listen to in 30 or 40 years they wouldnt be telling stories. im 14 by the way and i love this music

long live oldies & doowop

azitaliana on 23 July, 2007 at 4:35 am #

Dion did not have a “habit” during this time.
It was later in his career.

wandre9 on 23 July, 2007 at 7:26 am #

You realize, of course, that during those those “wholesome” good ol’ days, Dion was maintaining a heroin habit. No knock on the man or his music.

prettylatinachic1 on 23 July, 2007 at 9:11 pm #

im only 22 but i love the oldies and i really like this song.

Does anyone know what happened to Dion, if he is still around I have to thank him for motivating me to become the world’s greatest and happiest playboy, my song that I have lived by is The Wanderer by Dion

This is such a good video–the shots of the kids and the old studio which lots of people never saw–Thx Frank!!

markyoloup on 28 July, 2007 at 4:30 am #

This song was so popular that the French Canadian singer RenĂ© Simard resumed in the french under the title “La bagueau doigt (The ring finger)” :-)
