I like u, u have a very similar view to this as me. MY friends make fun of old 50′s and sixties group, i did a cover of earth angel and made it a video, it sounds modern and most of my friends loved it, just cause i’m their friend i guess, or cause it had synths. the only difference with this is that The Chilli peppers sang and played this song almost exact as Dion.

Just 4 the record,I have no hatred for RHCP and love there music. It’s also ok to remake songs. It’s just, growing up in the 90s I listened to oldies music & people at school thought it was stupid. Then Pearl J & groups like sing those same songs & people think it’s AMAZING. Imagine trying to promote something you have created & people laugh at you. Then someone else steals what you created & people love them as though they created it and when in fact you did and did it first! Fucking Bullshit!

It’s sad that young kids today think or act like music made before 2000 is crap then they “Just Love” songs like this when this is a “remake” a “stolen” song from the oldies era. Just like the song “Last kiss”. G Frank wilson sings it during 1964 and it’s “Old shit”. Pearl Jam does it in 1998 and it’s a “new song that I have never heard before that’s just amazing”. Stupid, young fucks. If you like this “re-made” song by RHCP, then go and listen for a change to the stuff made from 1955-70.
