ShootingGower asked:

This boy recites the Qur’an very much like Qari Abdul Basit. It is truly amazing. Leaves you speechless!

Looking back now, i think it was a coincidence, but it was the first time that i had read a full surah and thought that it might be the case.

Pagans and anyone who follows man made values and rules can have no faith, only those who follow the divine revelations can nave faith.

I am using only rational arguments and speaking with respect. If you or anyone else gets angry is either because:
A-You’re unconfortable about anyone doubting what you take for true without questioning or thinking for yourself.
B-You think we’re all supposed to believe what you believe because you don’t understand or tolerate personal freedoms.

Hey dude, I see your point and to be honest, I totally agree with you.
I am a muslim like so many others here and had I been born in another religion I would have accepted it same as this. I think less than 1% people really think about this aspect.

I hope as I realised this slowly my people will realise and open up their narrow minds. Muslims need to go through the same phase that Christianity went through some time ago.

getting your faced betaed really hurts

Ignore these people. All they want to do is make other Muslims angry, where better than that. When the time comes they will see the Truth and when they do, they’ll be sorry. So the best thing to do is dont comment back to them because they are clearly immature people whom are deaf, blind and dumb to hear, see and know the Truth.

Im not saying it happens all the time. But i do believe it may happen, say you live in a corrupt society and your heart and mind are sincere than Allah answers. You have to be a Sincere Muslim for it to happen.

From the hadiths:

Muslim 623 The Prophet said: “It is not permissible to take the life of a Muslim except in one of the three cases: the married adulterer, a life for a life (if the person is Muslim), and the deserter of Islam.”

Bukhari 9:89:271 A man embraced Islam and then reverted back to Judaism Mu’adh said: “I will not sit down unless you kill him as it is the verdict of Allah and His Apostle”

in the bible it states clearly that apostasy is punishable by death. so why question abt Islam?

voiceofreasoning on 3 February, 2008 at 5:03 am #

You don’t have to teach me about my religion, can you show me in te Quran where it says that it is punishable by death or can you quote me a Hadith where the reason for it is punishable by death. You have the herd mentality, on your own you have not found anything. I am waithing for your reply.

mcb00 on 6 February, 2008 at 10:46 am #

Are you talking to me? If so, which comment are you referring to?

mcb00 on 7 February, 2008 at 7:01 am #

I already told you. In Islam apostasy is punishable by death. Do you know how to read?

voiceofreasoning on 8 February, 2008 at 10:52 pm #

2-I live in Lebanon, where the majority of the population is Muslim. I know enough about Islam.

What do you mean you know Islam, if you know Islam you should quote the Quran or an authentic tradition of the Prophet of Islam whereas you talk about Taliban and Wahhbies. can you define imposed on people, who or by which means show me proof?

mahameru70 on 12 February, 2008 at 8:42 am #

I am used to think of sceptical things of Quran recitation. it has changed. I get it now, it is not the a mere voice or sounds or singing, or recitation… it is the content of it.. the verses of Al Quran; the ‘surah’ is like the ‘letter’ from Allah to each of us both in general and individual. I ve never thought that i cud cry listening to it before. But now i do. I guess it is the meanings of the verses the content.not just the sounds of it being recited.

mcb00 on 15 February, 2008 at 2:57 am #

And if you admire Al Qaeda, then I don’t see why you wonder why people hate Islam. After all, you believe that Islam condones murder of innocent civilians by cowards.
