♥Team Edward♥ asked:

I’m a teenager, and a friend and I want to meet new people. I go to a small school and play a club sport, but I already know everybody. I don’t want to meet people through facebook or something (way too risky) and I don’t just want to walk up to strangers in the mall. What are some activities that don’t cost alot of money but are good for making new friends?

Pigeon wrangling is cheap. All you need is a rope and a pair of chaps.

Attend a party with someone you know. If there is alcohol there, you don’t have to drink. Chances are though, you’ll meet kids from other schools.

Try asking your friends, if you can meet there friends. Like plan to go to the movies with some friends, and tell your friends to bring someone that you don’t know. I’ve been introduced to some really awesome people that way. My friend Jannell has gone to a different high school and at the fair she brought a load of her new school mates.

Ask around and find out if your town has a organization or club just for local teenagers. In my town we have a place called The Basement where Christian rock bands play at every Friday and Saturday night. Most of the teenagers in my town go there.Look for places like that. You might be surprised at what your town might have for teenagers.
