Stehen P asked:

I would like to know what kind of professional business a teenager could start. When I mean professoonal I don’t mean cutting the grass, walking dogs, and such. I mean somthing that will make good money and is a growing field. I don’t care how long it will take or how hard It will be.

Thank You in Advance

you could start a business where you stand behind a cash and people order foods that often have mc as a prefix
oh and it would probably be easier if you try and find one of these places, starting one would be rough

How about a babysitting service? I know it sounds soooo done already but….

You can start as a “grassroots” type thing working with the adults you and your friends already know. You would be basicly the “broker” putting parents in need of the service in touch with responsible sitters needing the work and charge a commission for providing the service. It gives parents one number to call to access to multiple sitters. It also gives you and/or your friends (ie your employee’s) a safer way to provide the service. You would need to require your sitters to be CPR trained, have attended some type of childcare classes, maybe you could require a contract with your sitters/staff for non-compete (if this can be done in your state considering your staff would be underage). You could set the rate per hour the parents pay with a percentage going to the sitter. It is a simple situation that could be very beneficial to all parties concerned and since summer is coming on it is the perfect time to start since you and your friends may be out of school for the summer and available during normal business hours when parents are working.

Consider IT helper. There are I’m sure lots of older people in your neighbourhood that needs simple computer fixes. Some teens I know are designing websites. It’s like the handyman for IT. Start talking to your neighbour and tell them they can call you over if the internet doesn’t work or anything in particular. And be reasonable otherwise they’ll call a pro.
