PMS is a BIG BIG problem!! Getting hit on by a lot of boys and growing a lot! Mood swings are bad also. Those are the main problems I had. But going to High school and meeting new friends are also great things to look forword to.
Disadvantages
If you haven’t noticed, most of the common stereotype are of girls. During the teenage years most people become aware of themselves more, and stereotypes could really hurt someone’s self esteem. In the teenage world, girls tend to have more drama. Guys don’t tend to gossip and spread rumors and stuff.
Advantages
Well, girls are more free to do what they want. They can explore their artistic and musical side and their sporty side. While if guys wants to do artistic or musical thing, he might recieve some putdowns by his peers.
DISADVANTAGES-
Pressure from the media to be beautiful, which can result from a lower sense of self-esteem . an inability to concentrate or put more time in academics, higher risk of eating disorders/BDD, etc.
Jealousy or being the subject of jealousy–Lots of girls are suffering from low self-esteem and are insecure about their looks. Some girls can be very mean to each other to compensate for their jealousy.
Facing sexual double-standards. You’re learning about sexuality when you’re a teenager, but a girl can be outcasted and ostracized for her sexual experiences. Male teenagers will just be praised for their sexual conquests. Since some girls may fear being called sluts, they may not receive proper education about sexuality and will avoid the topic altogether.
Dealing with nasty, old men looking for jailbait. Be tough, aware and stay away from these people.
ADVANTAGES-
Female teenagers generally mature faster than boys.
They’re currently doing better in school.
Teachers favor you because they expect females to be better-behaved and sweeter.
Most females don’t have to face physical bullying or getting into fights. Physical fighting usually occurs among male teenagers.

Disadvantages:we too dam emotional,periods are a bitch,when we get pregnate 9 month of walking around with 60 extra pounds.
My answer to this question might not apply to anyone else because I had a very unique teenage run. For instance, I wasn’t big on the social scene or into what other girls my age were into…I was never into fashion when in school. I rarely even wore makeup, never went to parties, only went to one dance- my senior prom. I was very much an artist and writer, very much a loner. It was difficult for me because my peers automatically labled me as weird and different. I had one good friend and my twin brother, but the teenage was hard.
The avantages of being a female teenager is that you’re young, you have your whole life ahead of you. You can go out and have fun, search for who you are, enjoy going to school and not having the pressures of adulthood…
Disadvatages include dealing with the ‘fitting in’ situation, a thing I think every girl goes through at one time or another. It can be a lonely and scary time for some girls because of social pressures and what the world says you should be. Things like gossip, bullying and peer pressure make things difficult. Some people don’t understand just how depressing it can be for a girl to be scorned by her peers. There’s the sexuality issues… if a girl is sexually active, she’s in danger of being given a bad reputation. If a girl is a virgin and plans to stay that way until marriage, she will most likely be teased and made fun of because of it.
